The design and layout is beautiful. Maintaining the essence of the original buildings lends perfecctly to the atmosphere of the Hotel. The live music in the bar was of a very high calibre. Sensational way to finish a day.

    Superb

Staff were very accomodating in suggesting things to do and restaurants, the art around the hotel is fantastic and the location could not get any better.

Only suggestion would be an iPod dock / sound system for the rooms

    Very good

The wonderful building and its vaulting atrium.

I mentioned the not so successful mix of business and private guests, and I also think that more attention needs to be given to basic comforts like blinds in the bedrooms that really keep out the light and some more effective noise reduction. The restaurant, Henry's, is an unappealing internal space, and the Jam Packed Cafe works well at breakfast time but is totally inadequate as an evening meal option on the 3 nights of the week it stays open until 9pm (they eat early in Hobart!)

we were so impressed with the service the aesthetics and the style of the entire building - including the beautiful cafe and adjoining buildings that made up a comfortable and luxurious stay for my husband and i. I am an art teacher and i loved all the artwork and fabulous preservation of the architecture. Not to mention the fantastic view and the lovely staff who couldnt help us enough. just loved it.....

We liked the fact that everything was central to the hotel and it was a short stroll to attractions and dining. The staff were very friendly and did everything posible to make our stay enjoyable.

I loved the unique architecture of the hotel - it is a fabulous makeover of derelict waterfront warehouses. It is quirky with all the old historic features of these buildings (the exposed beams and brickwork; our room even had remnants of old machinery - metal pulleys in the roof area). The location on the waterfront was great and the staff friendly and helpful.

When we had a problem with our room at first it was quickly dealt with in a manner that exceeded our expectations - So big thanks

Need to fix the noise situation around the sliding door near the cafe as it is unbearbale in the rooms above and unless the door is changed the problem will persist and so will the number of complaints from customers

The staff were most obliging and informative. The gentleman at reception took us to our room and told us of the history of the hotel. The architecture and ambiance of the hotel is wonderful, with many artworks adorning the walls. Even though a Studio was booked we were upgraded to a spa harbour view room.

Just the very best place to stay in Hobart. I cannot fault this contemporary hotel - design, facilities, location, comfort, accessibility. Why look anywhere else?
